Wuhan Airport Metro

From Wuhan Airport it is possible to transfer to downtown by metro.

You just need to board Wuhan Metro Line no.2 (colour pink). It connects Wuhan Tianhe International Airport Terminal 3 with Optics Valley Square.

The airport section, which is the name of the tram between Wuhan Airport and the city centre, comprises Wuhan Airport and Changqingcheng Station.

Among its stops features Hankou Railway Station, Wuhan General Coach Station and Wangjiadun Central Business District.

In order to get to the city centre, you may take off at Jinyintan Station. Travel time is 27 minutes.

Schedule

Wuhan Airport Metro runs between 06:00 to 22:30 on weekdays and from 06:30 to 22:30 in weekends.

Frequency is every 11 minutes on peak hours and from 12 to 16 minutes on the other times.

Location

You can board metro line no.2 at the Transportation Centre located underneath Wuhan Airport Terminal 3.

Fares

Fares will be up to the distance to your destination:

From 9 kilometres: CNY 2.00.

From 9 up to 14 kilometres: CNY 9.00 to 14.00.

Over 14 kilometres: There is CNY 1.00 fare for every 2 additional kilometres.

Tickets are sold in the Transportation Centre ticket booths.
