Wuhan Airport Guide to Wuhan Airport (WUH)

Wuhan Airport Terminal map

Wuhan Airport was opened in 1995 in order to replace the former Hankou Wangjiadun Airport and Nanhu Airport, which were outdated, to later became the major international airport of Wuhan.

Given its key location in central China, it is a major airline hub and a focus city for many Chinese carriers. Due to this fact, it serves more than 170 airline routes, from whose 53 are international flights to Paris, Seoul, Osaka, Bangkok, Moscow and Singapore, and 72 are domestic flights to Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Chengdu and Chongqing, among others.

Transfer between terminals

The main terminal, Terminals 1 and 2, is connected to Terminal 3 complex building by the concourse wing. Additionally, there is a free shuttle bus which connects both terminals.

Wuhan Airport is composed by three passenger terminals as follows:

Terminal 1

Wuhan Airport Terminal 1 used to be the main international terminal before the construction and completion of Terminal 3. On these days, Terminal 1 is out of order.
